0122 - Gooseberry Barkminer Moth - Opostega quadristrigella ??
... there are two species of Opostega on James Adams' checklist for the Moths of Georgia. I have written to him to see if he can confirm this. Until I saw a similar species on Lynn Scott's website (Ottawa, ON) I had forgotten that I got one of these in my yard in MD two years ago.

Just Curious....
Why was this resubmitted?

Additional exposure
The intent was "recycling" - sorry if anyone was offended.
As this photo was 4 days old, it's moved (chronologically) several pages back into the database. Hence anyone that doesn't browse ID's back to that point will not see it. It gets it additional exposure . . Before I re-submit I delete the original so as not to have duplicate posts. I've have done this 2 other posts and received ID on both the second time around.
Repeating - I hope this has not confused or offended anyone.
This is absolutely one of the best database operations I've found for ID'ing insects.
