Oddly enough, out of the dozens of plant families represented in my yard, Cruciferae/Brassicaceae is conspicuous by its near absence. Aside from a single Candytuft plant (Iberis sempervirens), the closest thing I have is nasturtiums, Tropaeolum majus, which are in a related family. I guess the moth was a guest from elsewhere in the neighborhood.
