Hanging by a thread - Diogmites

Hanging by a thread - Diogmites
Snowhill Road north of Cabin Branch Creek, Treyburn area, Durham County, North Carolina, USA
August 6, 2006
Size: circa 22 mm
I've not seen them hanging by one leg before--it is amazing how well it hung there with prey--I was able to take several photographs. I note Troy has a similar photo of a Diogmites discolor hanging by just one leg while feeding:

Awesome shot!
That's a great shot Patrick:)

Diogmites
They are impressive. And I cannot see the thoracic shield well enough. It is not discolor or neoternatus or misellus or angustipennis. It may be properans but it is a fine shot either way.

Thanks, another view
