Fall Fund Drive

Limnichid - female

Limnichid - Female
Purdue Wildlife Area, Tippecanoe County, Indiana, USA
Size: 2 mm
Berlesed from moss near edge of pond. No date.

I've been on the fence with this one.

The eyes seem slightly protruded, thus Limnichites. The only option in that genus would seem to be L. huronicus, due to the widely spaced elytral punctures. Otherwise, it would have to be Eulimnichus.
