i am not very good at IDing hoppers. any ideas?

I am confident it's one of the Bird Grasshoppers - genus Schistocerca. I would lean toward S. obscura (Obscure Bird Grasshopper), but it could be any one of several species. I would have to check Capinera's guide, but I believe that S. obscura has long yellow antenna and black or dark blue hind tibae. But then again, I may have dreamt about being able to accurately ID Schistocerca species without detailed analysis.
