Spotted spider - Cyclosa turbinata - male

Spotted spider - Cyclosa turbinata - Male
Hancock County, Indiana, USA
August 20, 2012
Size: 2 to 3 mm
Noticed him hanging out on the outside of a window screen.

Pair of white spots on the dorsal surface of the abdomen, as well as a pair of ventral spots placed further back.

Cyclosa sp.? A female Cyclosa has a web not terribly far away from where I found him.

[will save for Kevin]

Moved tentatively based on similarity to guide images
Moved from Spiders.

It will be great to see
what Kevin says when he gets it!

Yeah
maybe I'll go grab the female too

Seems like a good guess
