It does look close
The "hairy vs. bristly" issue and body shape do give me pause. I'd swear I saw something even closer in syrphids, but couldn't duplicate this feat last night.

 
Wing veins
Do not seem to correspond to the other pictured Callophorid that is linked. I think this is a true Tachinid.
