Is the guide pages for damselflies here at BugGuide, if you haven't already. While the number of images is daunting at first, this damsel is different enough from the average that you might well spot it.

Another site for identifying Odes is Odonata Central:

If you go to the checklist link at the top of the page, you can then check your state, and then your county, to see what species have been found there...most will have an image attached (the camera symbol) so you can see what they look like.

Damselfly
Thank you (especially for the link, that sounds awesome!). Actually, I'd forgotten I posted this image. This has been identified (by somebody outside of the bugguide community) as a female Powdered Dancer (Argia moesta).
