Capnobotes fulginosus
. I doubt you found it in Tucson proper, however. It usually occurs at higher elevations. Tucson "foothills" are not in the city limits. My apologies if I am incorrect concerning exactly where you found this.

Yep.
More like Oro Valley, judging by the map. I'm sorry, I lived in Tucson proper for ten years and know that the slightest change in elevation and geography translates to wildly different flora and fauna. We need to be much more specific in our location data here on Bugguide.
