Size: body-1 1/4 inches
In photo all the whitish looking area around body and spots on it's back are bright yellow, stripes on legs are pale yellow. It's web has a vertical heavy zig-zag patern from top to bottom. Spider is fast to catch bug that landed in it's web and it just ate it, then went back to center.

Quite sure "The Longs" are co
Quite sure "The Longs" are correct with the ID. Millions of them in the grassy fields of VT. Mainly I just posted this because I "Long" to be back in VT and am glad to see another VTer on this site. VT needs better representation! I miss that beautiful state. 48yrs in VT and 9mo in SC and I'd go back and put up with the cold in a heartbeat. Keep some good VT insects images coming in!
