Range
Pennsylvania south to Florida and west to central Texas
Habitat
Bushes and grasses in moist wooded areas and roadsides.
Season
August to November in the northern extent of its range and March to December in Southern Florida.
Food
Plant matter such as citrus foliage and fruits.
Females sometimes eat the male's forewings during copulation.
