Red-headed Bush Cricket - Phyllopalpus pulchellus - female

Red-headed Bush Cricket - Phyllopalpus pulchellus - Female
Elkins Park, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, USA
August 29, 2012
Wings don't look quite like what I saw in the guide, but otherwise looks like Red-headed Bush Cricket.
Guessing female (ovipositor?), also guessing maybe a late nymph stage because of the looks of the wings?

Red-headed Bush Cricket - Phyllopalpus pulchellus - female Red-headed Bush Cricket - Phyllopalpus pulchellus - female

It is an adult female
The wings would be little "pads" on the nymphs. They look sort of like Beetle "elytra" on females of this species, but the male wings look more cricket-like because they have the swirled venation that goes with the singing apparatus.

Moved from ID Request.

Thank you, David!
I always learn something from you folks!
