I got this guy as a pupa from a cess pool in my grandfather's house. You can see how many more Cx. pipiens larvae there are. They love that water.

Are you sure it was cess in that pool? They are also fond of putrid scum water. Which may be the same thing. I am not too sure.

well it was
really diluted cess pool from the rain. But yeah, it was a cess pool from the basement toilet. FRESH!
