Silverfish in Bathtub

Silverfish in Bathtub
Stewartsville, Warren County, New Jersey, USA
August 7, 2006

Ctenolepisma lineata
Looks like a Four-lined Silverfish.

Silverfish or Firebrat- I think
Look under Order Zygentoma in the guide. The only other possibility would be a Bristletail, Order Microcoryphia. These are all primitive insects that trace their origins back to before insects developed wings hundreds of millions of years ago.

I'll leave it to the real experts to confirm and/or improve on the identification.

Bath Tub Critter
I'm no expert but it looks like a common silverfish to me. They are often found in the bathroom and I know for a act that they love wallpaper glue!
