Unknown Wingless Wasp? (Or Ant?) - Stigmatomma pallipes

Unknown Wingless Wasp? (Or Ant?) - Stigmatomma pallipes
Basking Ridge, Somerset County, New Jersey, USA
September 5, 2012
I found a few of these while digging around in the woodpile, this was under a large piece of wood that was on the ground. I grabbed it thinking it was some sort of weird ant, but I only found about 5 of them in the whole woodpile and they all seemed to be alone. When I saw it in my camera, I noticed the extremely large jaws.

Moved
Moved from Ants.

Definitely an ant
Moved from Aculeata - Bees, Ants, and Stinging Wasps. Maybe a dracula ant (Stigmatomma sp)
