based on my microscopic examination of this female specimen which is now a photo-voucher in the P.W.Messer collection. Thanks Tom.

Morphologic distinctions from similar northeastern O. fluvialis are discussed by Bousquet (1996). An unpublished character difference I noticed is that the elytral striae are more prominently punctate compared to that of O. fluvialis. This female was associated with a securely identified male from same collection event.
