A female Needham's Skimmer (Libellula needhami) at Meaher State Park during Bug Swarm 2012. As shown in the detail photo, the left wing has 3 paranal cells proximal to the anal loop, but the right wing has 4. The color also seems to change at the node on the leading edge of the forewing.

We love the difference in venation on the two wings!

 
It had me puzzled for a bit
The examples that G & J Strickland have posted here include two L. needhami with 4 of the relevant cells on one wing and three on the other. If it hadn't been for those examples, I wouldn't have been sure quite what to think.
