ID for an Alabama spider? - Female
Spanish Fort, Baldwin County, Alabama, USA
July 27, 2012
This spider was observed during the 2012 Bug Swarm at Meaher State Park, where it was busily moving its egg case around on a plant beside the trail. I doubt that the photos contain enough information to make a specific identification, but any information will be appreciated!

Moved to Cobweb Spiders (Theridiidae)
Moved from Spiders. Certainly a cobweb spider, but beyond that it might be hard to guess.

Thanks!
Thanks for the family ID! I didn't think we would be able to get too far with the ID. That spider was too busy pushing the egg case around to hold still for her portrait.
