Hemiptera with parasites - Leptoglossus occidentalis

Hemiptera with parasites - Leptoglossus occidentalis
Peace Valley, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
June 13, 2004
Is this bug a Coreidae? Any additional information would be appreciated. It seems to have three eggs or some other kind of parasite stuck on its head.

You are correct, this is a coreid, probably Leptoglossus occidentalis, the western conifer seed bug (expanding its range greatly). The white spots are the eggs of a tachinid fly, maybe Trichopoda sp.

Thanks Eric, this is very helpful.
