Be careful based on "looks" and id. ;)
Most similar in appearance and often confused with T. pruinosus, T. winnemana, and T. canicularis
Tibicen canicularis (Harris 1841), "Common or Northern Dog-day Cicada"
Tibicen pruinosus pruinosus (Say 1825) [syn. T. pruinosa pruinosa], "Scissor(s) Grinder Cicada"
Tibicen winnemana (Davis 1912) [syn. T. pruinosa winnemana],"Eastern Scissor(s) Grinder Cicada"
Tibicen robinsonianus Davis1922, "Robinson's Annual Cicada"
Tibicen sp. "HYBRIDS"?
