Macroviliidae -
Macrovelia hornii
Mocassin Creek, 6 mi. NE Coulterville, Tuolumne County, California, USA
May 26, 1971
Size: 4.2 mm

Macroveliidae vs Veliidae
. . . just the standard I needed to separate these old California critters. This made my day! I have approximately 15 similar specimens from 4 or 5 different locations in California. As I reworked my Heteroptera drawers to conform to BG taxonomy, I got more and more confused. Many thanks!
