Very Small Spider

Today while searching for Monarch eggs I found a very small glossy black spider with a bright irresdesent yellow cardiac mark on it's abdomon. It was the second time I have seen one and both times it was on common milkweed. I didn't have my camera with so no photo available. Does anyone know what it might be?

makes us think of Theridula

Theridula
Thanks for the quick response. I looked it up and it doesn't seem to have ever been recorded in Cook County, Illinois... just down in the southern part if Illinois. It's legs were black as well and had the body shape of a Black Widdow if that helps identify it. From now on all carry my camera with me! Maybe I'll see one again.

Sounds like the Phidippus aud
Sounds like the Phidippus audax spiderlings I've seen in the last few days.

I've seen these adults and they were hairy. This, if it was a young one, was completely hairless. Once again...I'll have to carry my camera with me at all times! Thanks for your help.
