Adult: mottled or solid color from pale green to reddish-brown or black with pale Y- or V-shaped spot on scutellum ^bull; Nymph: young nymphs pale green; older nymphs take on more adult coloration and develop black dorsal spots (2+2 on thorax and one on abdomen)
