i hope this one, as well as several other rhyps, make it into the next edition of your book: not a single member of this large family is represented in the 1st ed., which i find quite puzzling... as a lifelong fan of lygaeoids, my feelings are hurt --it's like not mentioning, say, Wallace, in a history of Scotland :]

Second edition
Now that the book is done, I'm thinking of more families like this that should be included. I hope this first printing goes fast so improvements and additions can be made asap.
ps: I made the mistake of letting the publisher decide on what was in the book.

another gapimg hole...
...is Entiminae, arguably the largest weevil subfam. with many members in the NE fauna -- both distinctive and very common [albeit mostly non-indigenous, i must admit]
also, if memory serves me, the Attelabidae are treated under Curc-dae --which sounds kinda antebellum
they could fit many more pix in the same space if the family headers were set in not-so-outrageous font size
