Several neotropical species have pale wing margins like this one. If you see another, try to collecte it.

 
With extreme prejudice....
I judged what it was before taking a close look (stupid!!), but I will keep an eye out for another. I have the stuff for preserving and shipping, so it won't be an onerous task, IF I manage to find one.

the contrasting Aussie color scheme does look a bit extreme...
...but i think you're spot on; let's wait for the hopper buffs
