Geotrupes sp. (blackburnii vs splendidus??)
a nice plain dorsal would help greatly, but i think i can see the sutural stria clearly enough.
for beetle/bug identification purposes, taking a plain dorsal view is well worth extra effort; oblique angles like here are usually tantalizing and rarely of much use
