Moved from Common Tree Crickets.

Based on work by Dr. Walker (SINA) and Laurel Symes (PhD candidate at Dartmouth), it appears these species can truly only be definitively ID'd is by the pulse rate of the male's song at a known temperature (O. forbesi is faster than O. nigricornis). Until more is known about their ranges - they can't be ID'd by appearance alone - they are essentially indistinguishable.
