Xylophanes tersa caterpillar with unknown eggs - Cotesia
Brooksville, Hernando County, Florida, USA
October 5, 2012
Size: 2.5 to 3 inches
I think these white"eggs" are near future parasites. Can the eggs be identified?

Moved
According to Dr. Sharkey, this is surely Cotesia, but there are many Cotesia species that are gregarious in this fashion.

Moved from ID Request.

Cotesia
Although Microplitis marini is the only parasite recorded for Xylophanes tersa on Taxapad, this would evidently be Cotesia congregata.
