Size: 6-7 mm not counting leggs
What is the red bulbous-looking thing?

This is a crane fly
Atarba picticornis in Limoniidae. Notice the bicolorous antennae, which is the character of this species. Check here for more info . New species for the Guide. - Chen

This here is a Cranefly, and I would guess that the red thing is a mite.
