Green-blue Long-legged Fly - Condylostylus - male

Green-blue Long-legged Fly - Condylostylus - Male
Thompson Falls, Sanders County, Montana, USA
June 17, 2006

Moved from Condylostylus.

Face and tibia
There are three species I know of with similar appearance -- wing with black markings (sometimes faint) and all black legs. They are distinguished by proportions of segments 2-5 of fore tarsi and presence of long, white hairs on face.

Moved from Sciapodinae.

This is in the genus Condylostylus.

for the help, Norm.
