After looking in Wagner I was thinking Rose Hooktip (Oreta rosea) but still not sure.

I am lucky and work 5 mins fr
I am lucky and work 5 mins from the preserve, so I shoot there every lunch and after work often. I am doing my best to shoot everything I can. Lots to still see!

We've just started to try to do the same thing
at Harms Woods, south of you, where we work with the North Branch Restoration Project. It's amazing what we're seeing that we never saw before -- because we weren't looking! It took quite a while over the years to learn all the plants, but that was easy compared to this. We're beginning to think that the number of insect species is actually infinite!!

I had found a earlier instar
I had found a earlier instar of this species a few weeks ago and so I was thrown for a second on this one. The two are a little different looking especially the color and size. Plus the side angle vs top down view. Here is the earlier one:
