Spider - Dysdera crocata

Spider - Dysdera crocata
Pasadena, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, USA
July 22, 2006
Size: 11mm
Is it true that this is the only species occuring in the U.S.? I believe I read that somewhere. This individual was paralyzed by a wasp. Wasp I.D. unknown, couldn't get a good enough look at it to even guess Genus. The wasp was black and only slightly smaller than the spider.
