Millipede - Orthoporus ornatus
Turtleback Mountain trail, Caballo Range, south of Truth or Consequences, Sierra County, New Mexico, USA

Size: several inches
These are common in the desert near Truth or Consequences this time of year. These were taken in Chihuahuan desert habitat, in rocky limestone soils.
