Dr Mockford speaks: "This is a species of Lachesilla.
"It agrees with L. corona in abdominal color, heavy outline of the pterostigma, and radial fork stem curving forward beyond the Rs-M junction. I have never seen a brachypterous L. corona, but maybe that was induced by its obviously heavy ectoparasite load."

Moved from Barklice, Booklice, and Parasitic Lice.
