Katydid - Dichopetala brevihastata

Katydid - Dichopetala brevihastata
Yetman Trail, Tucson Mts., Pima County, Arizona, USA
August 18, 2006
Size: 25mm body
Looks like a Katydid nymph of some kind. Found 3 of these guys this morning. Will post another with different perspective after this one. Antennae were very, very long, maybe 4 - 5.5 inches!

Another male short-winged katydid.
This is again a male Dichopetala brevihastata. I'll place both of them on a guide page. Nice shots!

Fast
that was, Thanks Eric. Another group to become acquainted with. Those antennae are really something.
