Aegialia blanchardi? - Aegialia arenaria

Aegialia blanchardi? - Aegialia arenaria
Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts, USA
October 15, 2012
Size: 4.7mm
Found on the beach.

Aegialia arenaria (Fabricius)
Moved from Aegialia blanchardi. ID'd from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Tom, a new one for me.

Pronotum less punctate and hind tibial spurs wider than in A. blanchardii. Also lacks a definite basal marginal line on pronotum.

Moved tentatively
Moved from Aphodiine Dung Beetles. Very nice!
