What type of wasp is this? - Sphecius speciosus - Female

Size: 2 inches
I have observed this insect burrowing in my backyard and I have found several burrows.

Cicada Killer Wasp
Thank You Mike!

This is the first year I have seen these wasps. Their size was the first thing that caught my attention, secondly, the burrows all over my backyard.
