Black Diamond spider - Thanatus - female

Black Diamond spider - Thanatus - Female
White Fox, Torch River, Saskatchewan, Canada
July 12, 2012
Size: ~7 mm.
As I was leaving the garage this spider came up through the board walk and ran to the centre of the door sill, then stopped. Stayed there motionless while I photographed and measured her, then gave her a wounded mosquito and some water.
She ignored the mosquito, enjoyed a long drink then moved to the hinge side casing.
Likely looking forward to the nights banquet under the light.

SK Thanatus
altimontis, coloradensis, formicinus, rubicellus & striatus. I'm not familiar with all of them.

Thank you, That's close enough for me

Could be Thanatus formicinus?

Thanatus formicinus?
Looks like a great match to me! I don't know what the other species in your area look like though, so hopefully someone can confirm.
