Texas Size Spider Q - Olios giganteus

Size: at least 44 mm
Texas Size Spider Q. Was on my porch ceiling. I estimated the size. It was certanly large to me! Having NO idea about spiders I guessed it might be a Pisauridae. They look pretty big in the pictures.

Olios giganteus
Well you picked a large spider, so you were close on size. This spider is actually an Olios giganteus. Compare with
