Aphids on Milkweed - Aphis nerii

Aphids on Milkweed - Aphis nerii
Hartford County, Connecticut, USA
August 20, 2006
Size: Larger individuals ~3mm
Is this Aphis nerii? It is the only one from the guide that seems to match, but I am not sure if the guide is all-inclusive yet :-) On Aclepias incarnata if that makes a difference.

Aphids on Milkweed - Aphis nerii Aphids on Milkweed - tended by ants - Aphis nerii

Well, there are apparently 224 genera of aphids in the US,
(see guide) and we have five so far. So we are definitely not all-inclusive. But we have been calling all these yellow aphids on Milkweed Aphis nerii, for what that's worth. A Google of aphid and milkweed also shows up something called Aphis lutescens or milkweed aphid, although in some images that appears to be more orange than yellow- and some sites call Aphis nerii Milkweed Aphid, too.

Thanks
Now if only there were an available and easy-to-use key to the species of aphids - preferably one that didn't require a 200x microscope or a dna sequencer...
