Size: 21.4mm wingspan.
Came to black light/MV trap. (live oak/chaparral habitat). Maybe a Hydropsychid?

Thank you Dave
for confirming the family. The specimen was collected along with several moths from a trap, and is currently on the spreading board. Would any photos of the spread specimen make genus or species ID possible.

photos
photos of the private parts are the best for the genus/species level in that family. There are some wing characters but they are very difficult to see even with major magnification. It may be too late but if the abdomen has not dried up take caudal/ventral pics of abdominal apex quick before the parts dry up and retract/distort. Use high resolution so we can zoom in. Good luck.
