ID Me Please - Sphecius speciosus

Size: huge 4.1 cm
This wasp (or wasp-like-bug) was huge. I've never seen any other wasp even approaching the size of this one.

cicada killer
i do believe that is a cicada killer, Sphecius speciosus.
