Many names have changed over the years, but I try to include the original/alternate names on the guide pages, so a search for "operator" would have gotten you here.
Nice to have the galls of both generations in the guide now.

Callirhytis operator
Using Lewis H. Weld's "Notes On American Gallflies Of The Family Cynipidae Producing Galls On Acorns, With Descriptions of New Species." (Link below) I have keyed this gall out to the agamic generation of Callirhytis operator. However it is not listed on bugguide.
