Don Thomas says: "Actually, this looks like E. obscurus"
Moved tentatively from Euschistus tristigmus luridus.

I'm confused - please help
The info page for E. obscurus states: "The most noticeable feature of these is the light bar stretching between the humeral angles of the pronotum, where it looks like it was "worn" a bit.", which this specimen does not have, and: "These insects are either green or yellow on the underside", which this specimen is not, and the range is "TX-FL-SC; Mexico", which is nowhere near Indiana. Is all of this info on the guide page wrong? What is it about this specimen that leads you to believe it could be E. obscurus? What is it about this specimen that leads you to believe that it is not E. tristigmus luridus? Please let me know your reasoning so that I can learn to differentiate between these two species, despite all the (incorrect?) information on the guide pages. Thanks!
