Not a crescent, a Silvery Checkerspot.

Thank you both. I see they are in the same tribe as the crescents and they are lumped next to each other in my Butterflies of OK, KS, and north TX book. That is why I thought they were in the genus Phyciodes. Thanks again!

You did get at least part of an underside of the other crescent in this photo. During the summer, on Pearl Crescents have been posted from Oklahoma, but I'm not sure about this. Someone will know.
