Crab spider - Xysticus sp. ? - Xysticus - female

Crab spider - Xysticus sp. ? - Xysticus - Female
near Manistee, Manistee County, Michigan, USA
June 10, 2004
Found on Ox-eye daisy growing in grass beside a road , close to trees. We think it might be one of the xysticus species, but we live in scotland and are not familiar with the range of species found in the USA. Can anyone identify the species of the crab spider? If anyone can identify the hoverfly as well that would be a bonus!

Xysticus elegans ?
We're thinking Xysticus elegans for this also. Tom?

Elegans
Yes it seems so. And it seems I posted a spider similar to this.

Crab spiders
Thanks to everyone for the comments and identification. Our guides to the US flora and flora are not comprehensive enough for us to identify most of the insects and spiders we have found with any certainty.

Hoverfly possibly Helophilus
I'm just learning a few of these, but the Hoverfly looks like Helophilus. I've got some images, and will write up a guide soon.

I agree, it looks like Helophilus.
