Thanks to you both. This bup is too nice not to be showed off. Also, it is nice to have a photo of this one just in case someone does run across it. It would be a new record for the US.

I know this will get frassed but I just wanted to post it because the other two US species of this genus has been posted on the guide. This species is so close to being in the US.

It is listed in Nearctica, I would keep it in the guuide at least as long as it takes to find a specimen in the US.

I agree. Troy's orginal vision included a few non-US, non-Canada images if they were the only ones available for a species that is found in the US or Canada.

The trick is being able to explain the apparent inconsistency when we tell new-comers we don't want to keep their image of an Uruguayan flea!
