Thanks
I appreciate all of your help. Do you ever get tired of seeing so many insects all day, it seems like every day?

good question...
the short answer is no -- provided that they are as cool as those you supply to the Guide.
that being said, at times i do contemplate putting a bullet thru my brains when i see another photo of <organism name censored> posted for datapoint's sake; in such cases i may recur to a battery of therapeutic procedures, like watching Icelandic police drama for 8 hrs in a row --after which most other pursuits feel much less depressing

It is a joy.
I really must admit it is a huge pleasure seeing so much diversity and incredible beauty. But I don't think I've seen anyone working at this as consistently as you, and I'm amazed at the volume of material that you go through. Your comments are always a delight and your help is incredible - and I'm sure that the service that Bug Guide provides gets many people interested and active in insects, as well as the whole natural world around them. Before I found BG, I liked insects, but after a while it was "just another beetle", now it's a whole world of possibilities. It's also rather contagious, as some of my friends have found out. Anyway - thanks for all of your work.
