can't appreciate the hind tibia in these images.

Maladera castanea, I suppose
can't really see the hind tibiae, but general habitus looks pretty good

 
the gestalt looks like a Maladera...
but I've never seen a living specimen that orange. Have you Brad? And I agree the tibiae still are not adequately visible.

We beetle folks love to harp on the importance of dorsal shots, and here is one case where a lateral would've been very helpful :)

I was thinking it looked overexposed (or something like that), which could be why its so orange.

But it was the unusual color that caught my eye. I think that it is close to the true color. Now I wish I had taken more pictures and tried a couple of different exposures.
