Date?
Are they active this late in the season? What is the host plant at this time? Buckthorn? Can you give us a little more information to add to the info page? I thought that they would be overwintering eggs by now.

greenhouses aphids
Surprising to find aphids at time of year, I confess!

Our greenhouses contain soy and they spend the winter in good condition. At this time of year, we do not find aphids outside in Quebec. I wanted to put this picture to facilitate the specimen identification even if they live in greenhouses.

In that case, we have to remove the date (12/9/12) from the data field so it doesn't distort the information that eventually shows up in maps and data pages. It is the same with butterfly houses and indoor raised bugs. We want dates and location for naturally occurring specimens, only.
It is a helpful to explain this in the text and mention the date only there.
